1. AUP is pleased to announce that Robert "Seb" Meekins from Unit William & Mary will serve as Division Leader for the 2015-2016 academic year. John Matechak from Unit Auburn and Connor Jewett from Unit Citadel will serve as the Deputy Division Leader and Division Operations Leader, respectively.

2. The Division Leader is a more experienced student serving as the senior student leader within AUP nationwide, exercising responsibility, accountability, and authority for AUP's overall student activities while supervising subordinate personnel.  The Division Leader is appointed, relieved by, and reports to, the leader of the national AUP Operations staff.

3. The Deputy Unit Leader is a more experienced student serving as the second most senior student leader within AUP nationwide, exercising secondary responsibility, accountability, and authority for AUP's overall student activities while supervising subordinate personnel in support of the Division Leader, serving as a temporary replacement when the DL is unavailable.  The Deputy Division Leader is appointed and relieved by the leader of the national AUP Operations staff, and reports directly to the Division Leader.

4. The Division Operations Leader is a more experienced student serving as the third most senior student leader within AUP nationally, exercising supervision and primary scheduling coordination among nationwide and field level daily activities while supervising subordinate personnel in support of the Division Leader and Deputy Division Leader, serving as a temporary replacement when both the DL and DDL are unavailable.  The Division Operations Leader is appointed and relieved by the leader of the national AUP Operations staff, and reports directly to the Division Leader, with secondary reporting to the Deputy Division Leader.

1. As we reach the midpoint of the academic semester, we are looking to appoint the 2015-2016 student chain of leadership (SCOL) in the coming weeks.

2. If you are interested, submit a cover letter; a resume; and a one-page plan for their strategic vision for AUP over the course of the next year to Mr. Jake Shaw (jake.shaw@cgauxnet.us) by March 15th. Questions may also be addressed to him or Mr. Christopher Papas (christopher.d.papas@cgauxnet.us).

3. Consult the Leadership and Management Interim Guidance to see descriptions and more information for the Division Leader, Deputy Division Leader, and Division Operations Leader positions.
