AUP 230.2 Goodmate, Will commence upon conclusion of AUP 230.1. Schedule: Asynchronus, online. Instructor: BC Young. Exam: Testing Center. Notes: Both parts need to be successfully completed to receive credit.

AUP 240 Vessel Examinations. Date: 20 February. Schedule: Asynchronus, online. Instructor: DVC Arcuri. Exam: Testing Center. Notes: To earn qualification, practicuum to be arranged locally.

AUP 250 Public Affairs. Date: TBD. Schedule: Asynchronus,online. Instructor: BA Navarini. Exam: Testing Center. Notes: None.

AUP 303 Independent Study Date: By arrangement, contact BC Young to set up. Schedule: Asynchronus, online. Notes: An opportunity for the student to specialize in a field. Offerings are PA2: Public Affairs Specialist II, and MSAM: Marine Safety Administration and Management Specialist PQS. MSAM will require an oral board.  

AUP 304 Homeland Security Date: AUP Enrollment required, but otherwise independent, Schedule: Asynchronus, online. Test:   Naval Postgrad School Notes: Online courses. Student shall select two, work through the online presentations, and take exams. The completion certificates must be presented to earn AUP credit.

    3. Create an account.  

    • Fill in your personal information.  For your position or title, state "student". 

    • For organization/agency use "USCG Auxiliary University Program".  

    • For discipline select "Coast Guard" from the pull down menu.  

    • For sector select "Federal government" from the pull down menu.  

    • For how you heard about CHDS select "other" and then fill in "USCG Auxiliary University Program"

    4.  Click "submit"

    5.  You will get a confirming email and from there will have the ability to sign-in.  

    These courses are interesting and very well done, but very detailed.  Take your time going through the material because there is an online exam at the end which you must pass to get the certificate of completion which we will require from you.
