Subj:  ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW DIVISION LEADERSHIP - 10/15

1. AUP is pleased to announce that Robert "Seb" Meekins from Unit William & Mary will serve as Division Leader for the 2015-2016 academic year. John Matechak from Unit Auburn and Connor Jewett from Unit Citadel will serve as the Deputy Division Leader and Division Operations Leader, respectively.

2. The Division Leader is a more experienced student serving as the senior student leader within AUP nationwide, exercising responsibility, accountability, and authority for AUP's overall student activities while supervising subordinate personnel.  The Division Leader is appointed, relieved by, and reports to, the leader of the national AUP Operations staff.

3. The Deputy Unit Leader is a more experienced student serving as the second most senior student leader within AUP nationwide, exercising secondary responsibility, accountability, and authority for AUP's overall student activities while supervising subordinate personnel in support of the Division Leader, serving as a temporary replacement when the DL is unavailable.  The Deputy Division Leader is appointed and relieved by the leader of the national AUP Operations staff, and reports directly to the Division Leader.

4. The Division Operations Leader is a more experienced student serving as the third most senior student leader within AUP nationally, exercising supervision and primary scheduling coordination among nationwide and field level daily activities while supervising subordinate personnel in support of the Division Leader and Deputy Division Leader, serving as a temporary replacement when both the DL and DDL are unavailable.  The Division Operations Leader is appointed and relieved by the leader of the national AUP Operations staff, and reports directly to the Division Leader, with secondary reporting to the Deputy Division Leader.

This mailing list is a one-way list from the Auxiliary University Programs (AUP) Division to all AUP students, staff, and instructors. Questions need to be routed through the appropriate Chain of Leadership and Management.
